the one that truly forgets when he forgives.

thedebbienwafor on instagram.

in Ephesians 1:7, the bible says "since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood— THE TOTAL CANCELLATION OF OUR SINS —all because of the cascading riches of his grace."

emphasis on the cap letters please.

could it be that God wasn't joking when he says all things have become new because the old has past away?
could it be that everything I've done in the past can and has been forgiven?
can God truly overlook all the evils of my life and call me his child?
are my sins even forgivable?

see, for some persons, this questions and more might be the reason why you're still hesitating to receive the love of God. genuinely, you want to come to Jesus, but you can't seem to get over the things you've done and been.

well, there's good news -as always - for you, because when the Bible says "total cancellation" in Ephesians 1:7, it means:

- complete forgiveness of sins
- absolute removal of guilt and shame
- entire blotting out of transgressions
- total eradication of the debt of sin
- complete pardon and acquittal
- liberation from the power and penalty of sin
- a clean slate, AS IF SIN(S) WERE NEVER COMMITTED - wow!!

the Greek word "aphesis" (forgiveness) is used here, implying a complete release from the burden of sin, like a debt being completely wiped out.

this "total cancellation" is a result of God's grace and the redemption purchased by Christ's blood, as scripture says. it's a beautiful representation of God's mercy and love, demonstrating that our sins are completely forgiven and forgotten, never to be held against us again.

so, you see, there's hope for you - hope beyond hope because when my loving Jesus forgives, he truly forgets.

don't hesitate any longer.
it's a clean slate for you!

i love you, but Jesus loves you more.
