1. road to 24: it’s that time of the year again!
four years ago, i decided that i'll always do something to memorise my birthday. i grew up in a family where birthdays first of all were non- biblical and tantamount to sin and over the years, it became non-existent to me and my simblings.
uni changed that!
and i wanted to change that for my family and myself.
so, last four years, i bought the first ever birthday cake in my household for my brother's 12th year and brought it home.
of cos, everybody was shocked, my dad as religious as ever rained hell and brimstone, but i no send, my brother was undeniably and emotionally happy and it was extremely fulfilling for me.
oh, i also did something for me.
i hosted my first podcast with my friends and other guests in 2021. it was also the year that - for the first time - someone asides me remembered my birthday, planned a whole _sererense_ and gifted me some priceless things and moments - something that'll stay me forever.
the next year in 2022, we did another podcast show too....very chilling something. i tagged it "libra tendencies" it was really interesting!
in 2023, i decided to document every single thought and activity in writing and videos, then post it on my blog and on instagram, tagged it "road to 23/onitsha living diaries" for every single day in september. writing won and video lost on day 12.....we meuuvee!!!!!
2024. this year has been it for me but regardless i'm grateful. that's why today, i'm starting another daily blog posting but this time only on medium for everyday in september. it'll encompass lifestyle, personal development, spirituality, stories, and very good humour.
also, i'm challenging myself to post a video a day on instagram and tiktok too.
i'm banking on God-fidence, totally!
and, i'm hoping that you'll be curious enough to follow through, at least to see for yourself if this girl get sense at all.
so, i'll be dropping the links here everyday, so you can read and watch, but in the meantime, i did something already.
