6. road to 24: on cheerful and thoughtful giving.

a quick one on cheerful giving; the intentional and thoughtful one.

being thoughtful with your giving is what determines your cheerfulness. when you allow yourself to purpose in your heart, you give according to how you can and do not grumble about how much or less you gave.

no matter how much i give, it must be given freely, not out of necessity, but with cheerfulness. i can give because i want to satisfy the insistent asking of people, but that's not the best way as what i may end up giving becomes squeezed or forced.

i should see the need of people, i should be touched by it, my giving should come from that standpoint of compassion and it will maintain my cheerfulness.

i must give liberally, with an open hand and countenance being glad that i have the ability and opportunity to give.

God loves a cheerful giver. Givers do not lose. what is given out in the right manner is not lost. like a seed, it will spring firth and bear fruits with increase.
can a man be a loser for doing that which God is pleased with? there are gains to doing the heart if God and God is able to make our charity overflow to our advantage.
